LoL Champion Compare FAQ

How the champion comparison tool calculates and displays stats across levels.

How does this champion comparison tool calculate stats at each level?

It uses Riot's level-scaling formula: base + perLevel × (level − 1) × (0.7025 + 0.0175 × (level − 1)). At level 18 the multiplier equals 17, so you see the champion's final base value before items.

Can I compare two champions at different levels?

Yes. Set a level (1–18) independently for each champion so you can check lane matchups, late-game scaling, or trade thresholds at exactly the right point of the game.

Which stats are included in the side-by-side view?

HP, mana, HP regen, mana regen, armor, magic resist, base attack damage, attack speed, move speed, attack range, and crit. Every field uses the current Data Dragon patch values.

Why does early-game base AD matter more than late-game AD?

Early levels have small flat AD gaps but high damage-per-HP ratios, so a 5 AD difference at level 1 can decide a trade. By late game items dwarf base AD, so scaling stats like HP and AS usually matter more than raw AD.

Does this tool include item or rune bonuses?

No. It shows pure champion base stats. For stat changes after items or rune bonuses, use the individual champion pages or a full build calculator.
