About GamerStation
Operating since January 2026.
GamerStation is a one-person operation. I'm David Slone, the founder, and I build every tool, calculator, and guide on this site myself. Just one engineer who plays a lot of games and wanted better tools than the ones he was using.
Who I am
I'm an independent developer. I've been playing Forza, Subnautica, League of Legends, Dota 2, Slay the Spire 2 and other games for years, and the recurring frustration was that the most useful tools (tune calculators, damage models, crafting trees, meta dashboards) were either paywalled, ad- spammed, abandoned, or built so badly they hurt to use. I started GamerStation to write the version I actually wanted.
You can email me directly at gamerstationllc@gmail.com. Feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or just to tell me a tune slider is wrong on the 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo page. I read everything.
How the tools are built
Every calculator on GamerStation is hand-written. The Forza Horizon 6 tune calculator runs a physics model I wrote from scratch (ride frequency, critical damping ratios, horsepower-aware differential lock, geometric gear progression tuned to a top-speed target). The Dota damage calculator implements the actual damage formulas Valve documents. The Subnautica crafting tool walks recipe trees iteratively the same way the in-game UI does.
Where I use external data, I tell you where it came from. The Forza Horizon 6 car list is sourced from forza.net (publicly published by Microsoft). Per-car stats are pulled from the Forza Fandom wiki under CC BY-SA 4.0.
For methodology details (how the math works per tool, how I source and verify data, how to report errors) see the editorial standards page.
How I make money
GamerStation is mostly free. Core tools (Tune Calculator, Best Tune by Car, Crafting Calculator, Damage Calculators, Meta dashboards) work without an account. The optional Supporter subscription is $2.99/month or $24.99/year and unlocks cross-device cloud saves, A/B compare, and a couple of advanced features. There are some banner ads on free pages, but never inside the actual tool flow. Supporter revenue and ads are how I keep the servers running and pay for development time.
If you spot anything that feels like a dark pattern, tell me. I'd rather lose the subscription than lose your trust.
Corrections + feedback
If a tune value looks wrong, a recipe is off, or a hero calculation is using a stale patch, email me at gamerstationllc@gmail.com and I'll fix it. Game-data corrections usually ship the same day. Math fixes get a public revision note on the relevant page.
