Tarmac circuits reward stiffer springs and lower ride height. For a R-class RWD build, expect ~2.1–2.3 Hz front / rear ride frequency, soft toe-out front for turn-in, and aero biased ~50% front / ~70% rear.

Hard-pack dirt drops spring rates and damper stiffness by half vs. road. Expect higher ride height (~5 in), more positive front camber (less than road, ~-1.5°), and zero aero (dirt removes downforce settings).

Mixed surfaces need the softest springs of all surfaces and the most ride height. Toe stays near 0° for stability over jumps. RWD cars want a tight rear diff to keep both wheels working when one leaves the ground.
