About Dota 2

Dota 2 is a 5v5 team-based MOBA from Valve where two teams compete to destroy the enemy Ancient. With 124+ heroes, hundreds of items, and frequent balance updates, the meta shifts every patch — knowing what's strong, what scales, and which itemizations counter specific lineups matters at every rank.

These tools cover the full flow: identify the meta picks, drill into a hero's base stats and per-level scaling, compare two heroes head-to-head, score and refine your item build, and run damage / time-to-kill math against real targets. Everything pulls from the current patch so you're never working off stale numbers.

Dota 2 Tools FAQ

Where does GamerStation get its Dota 2 data?

Hero stats, win rates, pick rates, and patch info come from OpenDota's API and GamerStation's own datamined damage data. Everything is patch-aware — when a new patch ships, the cache resets automatically.

Are these Dota 2 tools free?

Yes. Every Dota 2 tool on this page is free to use without an account. A few advanced supporter perks exist on individual tools, but the core stats and calculators are open.

Do these tools work on the current patch?

Yes. Hero stats and matchups are refreshed daily, but patch detection is more aggressive — once a new patch is detected the cache resets automatically so the data you see always matches the live game.

Can I compare two heroes side by side?

Yes — open the Hero Compare tool, pick any two heroes, and step through levels 1–30 to see exact strength, agility, intelligence, attack damage, armor, HP, and mana for both at the same level.
